How to set Google Calendar on Windows Desktop as a Wallpaper - WinMatrix

Posted Image

Here are three simple steps to put Google Calendar on your desktop as a wallpaper.

Your calendar's "Private Address" in HTML format lets you view a read-only version of your calendar without signing in to Google Calendar.

Step 1. Under "Calendars" in the left column, click on the down-arrow next to the appropriate calendar, then select "Calendar settings." (Alternatively, click on "Manage Calendars" under "Calendars" in the left column, then click on the name of the appropriate calendar.)

Step 2. In the "Private Address" section, click on the "XML", "iCal", or "HTML" icon. A pop-up window with your calendar's public URL will appear.

Step 3. In Windows, go to Control panel/display/desktop and choose "customize desktop". Choose the "web" tab and click "new" to add the URL for your Google calendar. Save the settings, and your calendar should appear as the background.

You can refresh it to update, but it should update automatically every morning.
